1. Who is eligible to play?
Club6 is open to amateur
golfers with current Golf Australia handicaps
who are current and active members of any official Club6
Partner Club.

2. How do I subscribe?
You can subscribe
online or by sending in the entry form at the back of
the Club6 brochure. Club6 brochures are available at any
partner club or you can print the entry form here. Alternatively you may ask your club pro to subscribe
you directly.

3. Which forms of payment are accepted?
Online transactions accept
credit card (Visa and MasterCard). If
you choose to mail the entry form you may use
credit card (Visa and MasterCard) or
cheque.

4. When can I begin playing?
All Club6 members
that have received payment confirmation can
begin playing immediately once the competition
commences as of the week beginning April 26,
2008, or at any other stage throughout the
duration of the Club6 competition.

5. What is the duration of the Club6 competition?
Club6 runs for 20 weeks; week beginning 26 April 2008 and concluding on 14 September 2008

6. How often can I play in Club6?
As often as you like. Club6 can be played during any regular competition round at your club. Please see your PGA Member to confirm the dates of Club6 at your club.

7. Do I have to play every week?
No, you can play as little or as often as you like. You only need one fantastic final six hole score to potentially become your Club Champion.

8. Do I have to play a full 18 hole round?
Yes, your Club6 score is the aggregate
final six-hole stableford score achieved on the last six
holes played in an 18 hole round.

9. What happens if there's a major club event on a Club6 competition day?
If there is a major club event e.g. Club Championship or teams event e.g. Foursomes, Ambrose, etc. your club may determine that the Club6 will not be played on that day.

10. Can I start my round on any hole, or must it be the 1st?
Club6 is all about the last 6 holes of your round. You can start on any hole and your last 6 holes comprise your Club6 score - this applies not only to starting on the 10th but for a shot-gun start where you may begin on any hole on the course.

11. Is it unfair if the last 6 holes of the back nine are harder than the front?
No, because Club6 is a stableford event and all holes are individually rated.

12. Is there a Junior Subscription?
No. This Club6 membership category has ceased.

13. What are the maximum allowable handicaps?
Men with handicaps up to
and including 27 (any handicap exceeding 27 automatically
becomes 27) and women with handicaps up to and
including 45 (any handicap exceeding 45 automatically
becomes 45).

14. How do I mark my card?
You must score stableford for the final six holes of your 18 hole round and circle the last hole played in your 18 hole round. The card must be a complete, accurate card and co-signed by a playing partner.

15. Do I need a separate scorecard?
No, simply use your club scorecard and mark as per the above instruction.

16. How do I calculate my Club6 Score?
By simply adding your stableford points for
the final six holes of your 18 hole round.

17. How do I calculate my Net 18 Score?
You calculate your Net 18 Score by
converting your 18 hole score for the competition of the
day into stableford points. For example, John plays in a
stroke competition and has net 69. John’s net 18 score
is 39 (course par 72). For example, Debbie plays in a par
competition and has +2. Debbie’s Net 18 Score is 38.

18. How do I record my score?
You must ensure your Club6 score and Net 18 Hole score are recorded on the official Club6 competition sheet at the conclusion of your round.

19. Can I play in the Club6 competition at another Club6 Partner Club?
Yes you are entitled to participate at another club so long as you inform the club professional and record your score on the competition sheet.

20. Am I eligible to win the same prizes at any Club6 Partner Club?
You are eligible to win the weekly
club prize and the weekly
national prize however if you are not a member of that
club you cannot qualify to play in the Club Champion Play-Off.

21. I am a member at more than one Club6 Partner Club can I compete at each course?
Yes, but you need to email Club6 with the name of the club(s) you are a member of. This will
entitle you to participate as a full Club6 Member and compete
in the weekly competition as well as qualifying for the
Club Champion Play-off.

22. What is the tie-break system for the Club Weekly competition?
In the event of tied Club6 Scores, the
tied Member who achieved their Club6 Score on the day with
the higher CCR, as determined by the Partner Club, will
prevail. If this does not break the tie, the member with
the better net 18 hole score will prevail.
If this still does not break the tie, a count-back beginning from the last hole played will apply and the stableford scores compared until there is a hole where one of the tied members has a higher stableford score.

23. How do I collect the Club Weekly Prize?
Your professional will distribute the Club Weekly Prize directly to you as soon as they have verified your Club6 score as an accurate winning score.

24. Can I win the Club Weekly Prize more than once?
Yes, you can win the
Club Weekly Prize more than once. Please note
that the Golf Australia adheres to the Rules of Amateur Status laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R & A) and members can only win up to $1,200 of value (excluding the Annual Champions Tournament).

25. Do I receive the same prize if I win the Club Weekly competition more than once?
Yes, you win the Weekly Prize Pack.

26. What is the tie-break system for the Nationally Weekly competition?
In the event of tied Club6 scores, the
tied Member who achieved their Club6 score at the Partner
Club's course with the highest positive differential or
the lowest negative differential between the CCR and the
par of the course will prevail. For example, If John's Club6
score is 18 points and he achieves this with a CCR of 74
on a par 72 course, he has a positive differential of 2
and will beat Bruce's 18 point Club6 score achieved with
a CCR of 73 on a par 72 course (positive differential of
1).
If this does not break the tie, the better net 18 hole score will prevail. If this does not break the tie, a count-back beginning from the last hole played will apply and the stableford scores compared until there is a hole where one of the tied members has a higher stableford score.

27. How do I receive the National Weekly Prize?
You will be contacted by phone to inform you and the $500 voucher will be mailed directly to you.

28. Where can I redeem the $500 National Weekly Prize voucher?
The $500 voucher is redeemable in the pro shop at the course where you achieved your winning score on any Titleist, FootJoy or Cobra product.

29. Can I win the National Weekly Prize more than once?
Yes, you can win the National Weekly
Prize up to two times. Club6 adheres to the Rules
of Amateur Status laid down by the R & A stating
that members can only win prizes up to $1,200 of value.

30. How do I qualify for the Club Champion Play-off?
The six highest individual
weekly winning scores at the conclusion of
the 20 week competition will proceed to the
Club Champion Play-off. In the event that one
member has more than one of the six highest
weekly winning scores, the next highest weekly
winning score will be eligible for the play-off.
In the event of a tie for the sixth highest
score, all individuals tied for sixth will
qualify for the Club Champion Play-Off.

31. Where and when is the Club Champion Play-off?
The Club Play-off is to be played at the club
you qualified at on a date to be nominated by
the club at the conclusion of the 20 week competition
period.

32. What is my handicap for the Club Champion Play-off?
Your handicap will be the lower of the two; being your official Golf Australia handicap on the scheduled day for the Champions Tournament, or your handicap on the day you played in your Club Champion play-off.

33. How is the Club Champion determined?
The Club Champion Play-off is played under the same rules as the Club Weekly Competition i.e. 18 holes with the best Club6 score winning.

34. When and where is the Annual Champions Tournament?
The Annual Champions Tournament is to be held at Club Pelican & Crowne Plaza Pelican Waters Golf & Spa Resort on Queensland's Sunshine Coast from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 December 2008

35. What is my handicap for the Annual Champions Tournament?
Your handicap will be the
lower of either your official Golf Australia
handicap as per the day you won your Club Play-off
or your Golf Australia handicap as of the day
of the Champions Tournament. You must provide
evidence of this when you register for the Champions
Tournament at Club Pelican.

36. Do I have to relinquish my amateur status if I compete in the Annual Champions Tournament?
No, Club6 is Golf Australia approved for the
payment of expenses (Rule 4-2g/GA/5/2008).

37. How is the Annual Champions Tournament winner determined?
The Annual Champions Tournament is played under the same rules as the Club Weekly competition and the Club Play-off.
